I made this video for a video contest that had “Future” as its loose theme. I contemplated the future, and saw RED. This is the result. On a technical note, the video was made using Apple’s Motion software. I used all the tricks I’ve recently learned.
At the time I had this video at the video sites Metacafe and YouTube, and it seems to have attracted slightly odd comments.
Hopefully, people, whether Chinese or American, can see the humor in this video and not take it too seriously.

Lassooed By the Lights – Bangkok VJ
Strobing photos from the Bangkok night set to a dub beat. Seafran had taken these photos in Bangkok and thought they’d be good for a visual remix. He provided the looping music track for this, too. I mixed up the photos in the Arkaos VJ software and did some after-work in Motion.
New Years Eve in Seoul
This is a document of my New Year’s Eve in Seoul, 2006. One month later, I would be leaving Korea to return to Canada. The new year’s festivities took place on Jongno road in central Seoul. There were just 1000s upon 1000s of people there, and no regard for safety with firecrackers and fireworks going off in all directions. Nearby is the Cheonggyecheon stream, so early in this video, there’s some scenes from there. My friend Matt Lamers was there, and he took some photos and video, too, a few of which I included here.
